Girls Win the School, Lose the University: The One Gap Bangladesh Did Not Close
Executive finding
Bangladesh has the highest secondary gender parity of the four countries reporting, 1.14 girls per boy, and the lowest tertiary parity of the five, 0.77. Every peer that reports both reads higher at university than at school. Bangladesh reads 0.37 ratio points lower.
