Narayanganj Science and Technology University

The university remains a non-operational, dormant project with no land, administration, or academic programs, currently targeted by fraudulent entities issuing fake admission notices.

Pre-operational university. Act passed November 2023, renamed January 2025. UGC confirmed in May 2025 that no activities have started and no VC has been appointed. The website ngstu.ac is a fraudulent site flagged by UGC Bangladesh -- do not use as a source. Established year set to 2023 (act passed); ministry approval was December 2020. Not included in March 16 or May 14, 2026 VC appointment rounds. All numeric fields (student_count, faculty_count, budget) are null as the university is not yet operational. ugc_recognized=true reflects legitimate parliamentary establishment, not operational status.
